Delegates to the DFL 5th District Convention On April 26, 2008 officially endorsed Keith Ellison for re-election to the US House of Representatives.

The convention also elected officers and directors for 2008-2010, DFL State Party Commission members and Pre-Convention Party Committee members and Presidential Elector/Alternate. Delegates within groups supporting Senators Clinton and Obama for the Democratic nomination for President also elected delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Denver. The newly elected officers for CD5 are:

Adam Duininck - Chair
Heidi Quezada - Associate Chair
Dustin Dennison - Secretary
Tom Hamilton - Treasurer
Kenneth Hardy - Affirmative Action Officer
